The Next Step Week Five Work

Here are the animal red eye corrections. I used Rollie's pictures as I didn't have any good ones of my own to use.

Here is the red eye correction on my grandchild, Jordyn. The first picture is the original and the second is the corrected one.

This picture is over 45 years old. I am working on it for a person I work with as a surprise for his wife for their anniversary. The first one is the original, the second one has color restored, unsharp mask, clarify, etc. The last one is the same picture converted to black and white.

Here is the flower from the lesson colorized three different colors.

Here are two more colorized pictures. The first one I colored the hat on the picture from the lesson. On the second one, I gave my living room a purple carpet. I don't think I would want that color carpet for real!

This one really isn't according to lesson, but I thought it came out pretty good. The first picture is the scan from a newspaper page. After resizing it may be hard to see where the newsprint shows through. I took the scan to PSP and resized it, clarified and sharpened it. I then used the clone brush to cover over the newsprint that showed on the picture. I then used the Virtual Painter Oil Painting effect on it. The second picture is the finished product. This is a picture of my son, Terry, at the Sept. 11, 2002 Anniversary Memorial in Woodway, TX.
